It’s that time of year when the garden has become a jungle and it takes all my effort for the greater part of the day to keep it under a modicum of control.
It’s also that time of year when harvesting is in full swing. I picked a long row of radishes this morning – I have enough radishes in the fridge to last us a month.
And scapes and berries and lettuce and herbs and potatoes and broccoli and and and….
It’s immensely satisfying, even when I feel like I am two steps behind.
And now – two days of hiking!
Hate to see how much attention the garden is going to need after two days!!!
