My timing today was impeccable: gardening in the morning and finishing the upper area before the rain came (and got my washing in off the line just in time.
And then the afternoon: I tackled the lower garden and the lawn and just as I finished – more rain.
And we are getting our driveway done as I write. No more roller coaster/bumper cars as we drive up and down. It’s going to be smooth sailing. From what I could see, Peter is doing a fabulous job – putting in tons of clean fill, packing it down, making a drive we will be proud of. Best of all, it will stop resembling the logging road to Gimli.
So there we are – that’s most of the day. It feels like a good day. I’m excited to hike Mount Roberts on Wednesday – a new destination!
