Mount Sentinel in Flower

Chris and I went up Mount Sentinel today. The Camas were at their peak – and tons of other flowers were in full, fabulous bloom! We even had glacier lilies at the top and a snow-free walk to the ridge-top for lunch.

It was a simply perfect day.

Afterwards, I went to Canadian Tire where I invested in much-needed new shower curtains.

That said, what a day! Here was the best part: We had rain to the west of us, rain to the east, rain that moved to the north and a rain cloud that stopped raining, passed over us, and continued raining on the next ridge over.

We hiked in sunshine. Two minutes from our cars at the end of the hike, we had one thunder clap and a few droplets of rain. How fabulous was that?

Chris (the weatherman) says I am a witch.

If it brings me sunny hiking days, I’ll go with it.
