The busyness continues. My main mission for the day: organize the monster walk-in closet. Find a place for all my stuff.
Next: bake bread.
Then – gather together the rest of the stuff to go into storage. Done and done.
And then, back to Nakusp to unload the U-haul and put the stuff into storage. It was amazing how quickly that went. Simon is so strong and so competent – and I am so grateful.
We even had time to take the dogs for a quick romp through the fields.
And finally: make another huge pot of lentil- stinging nettle soup to freeze for later. At the same time, a huge lasagne featuring (yup) stinging nettles. That’s in the oven right now.
And that’s it for me. I am done.
There’s still stuff to go up on walls and to move around a bit. But essentially, I am letting go. As much as it’s possible for an OCD person who doesn’t like chaos can let go.
My list for tomorrow is small – maybe vacuum. Definitely do my nails. With all the hand-washing and sanitizing, my skin feels like sandpaper.
And Wednesday? Lightning Strike! Yay! Maybe even throw in Baldy Rocks. Alpine! Yay.
Even better – here I am at home (HOME) with my love and with Alisa and really, how can it get any better?
