It’s a pleasure to go out on days like this. This morning Abby and I walked the back 40 – the mist from last night’s rain rising off the ground in the warmth of the sun – birds singing their hearts out – nest building. Any day now the frogs will begin to chant.
This afternoon we walked at Jack Point – so warm in the sun.
And tomorrow I will enter a world of snow in Strathcona – Mount Elma! Yay!
I am also contemplating my next writing project. I suspect it will begin in the next day or two. And yes, I’m excited about that.
But mostly I am counting down the days until I see Simon again. Not pining way – far from it. I am making joy every day. I am feeling love every day. At the same time, I miss the closeness, the presence – the easy being-together. And it’s a joy to know that that too, is so close.
