Yes – new green leaves are coming out everywhere. The daffodils are up and the crocuses are blooming.
Spring is here on the West Coast.
And what am I doing to celebrate? I’m heading to Vancouver tomorrow and then driving with Sheila to the Koots on Sunday, where it is snowing and cold. In other words – I am heading into winter.
And I couldn’t be happier about it. I get to see my Sweetie. And hug him. And kiss him. And…
And play Scrabble with him. What were you thinking?!
So I cleaned today and did laundry and started packing. It’s amazing how much stuff I have to take with me. It’s winter – not summer. Therefore: snowshoes, rain/snow pants, gaiters, winter boots, sweaters, vests and jackets – and all of Abby’s stuff.
The list is a long one.
It’s a darn good thing we’re driving and not flying.
We are going to have so much fun!
Good for you! Enjoy!
