Mount Jardine – West Ridge

What an extraordinary day on Mount Jardine!

We had sun and heat (and cold wind at the top) and tons of snow and, quite simply, an extraordinary time. It was possibly the most strenuous day we’ve had for a while: 4 hours to the top, but it was worth every single step, with crampons and without. Whew!

What a great group of people too!

I felt blessed every step of the way.

There’s really no point in describing the day (including post-holing, sliding, and tumbling) – because the photos tell it all.

And while I was up in the glorious alpine, Simon applied for a mortgage. We are on our way.
