Mount Kuskanax

It was another glorious day in the alpine. Peter, Sheila and I hiked up Mount Kuskanax. And yes, we made it to the top. The snow was slippery in many spots but firm. Most of the high ridge walk was almost a knife-edge – because that’s the way the snow melts. The way we looked at it – it made the hike just a bit more exciting.

And there we were at the top – finally with no horseflys. And it was chilly enough and windy enough to also eliminate the mosquitoes.

Hurrah all around.

So we had fun, post-holed rather deliciously a few times and enjoyed the wonderful adventure.

There’s really nothing like a good mountain day to get rid of cobwebs.
