Well now – that was a day!
No sooner had I packed away my snow boots and snowshoes and removed my snow baskets than Chris announced a KMC trip up Elgood, Plewman and Lepsoe. Well, I mean – how could I possibly say no?
So I dug everything back out, including, for heaven’s sakes, my ice axe – and off we went.
It was an interesting day – and one that proved, once again, why it’s wonderful to hike with the weather-man. Those clouds in the sky? No problem. Chris knew we were safe and we were.
It was hard work pretty much all the way, even coming down – but it was super and great and wonderful and fabulous to be up in the alpine again after a week or so of “shoulder” season hikes.
And more coming up: Kootenay Pass in a couple of days!
Yay!
