Right – I am not saying I am in a stew (not even a pickle) but, quite literally: stew.
You see, I took the dogs for a walk this morning and decided, “Hell – this isn’t really spring! It’s just a tease. It’s damn cold. It’s stew weather.!”
So I dropped into the market and got some ingredients and as soon as I have fed the dogs, I am going to make stew. I’d like to eat salad. But dammit – it’s going to be stew – the hearty kind with yams and potatoes and onions and probably curry spices and coconut milk.
Yeah – warmth.
That said, I have to admit that for the first time today I am not cold. The sun is shining in (at last) and I’ve been pruning raspberries and pulling weeds so yes, not cold.
Still, the word of the day is “stew.”
And I finished writing the piece I was hired to do. And once I have feedback and any amendments, it’s off to the newspaper with it.
I guess you could say that I’ve had a productive day – at least, those parts of the day when I was not surfing Facebook etc.
Let’s call it semi-productive.
I want to do the Hoffman Process. Now!
Just thought I would throw that in.
