It was completely awesome to have Tammy back and snowshoeing with us today. I wanted to show her my favourite winter place and it turned out to be a perfect day with lots of sun and clear views that went on forever.
And because it was Tammy, of course we got up to Evening Ridge almost an hour faster than we usually do. Where we had her beat though was on the downhill. That’s where Cecilia and I have amazing bum-sliding skills.
That said, I’m the only one who got injured – mildly. Oh well, the snow was slippery and fast.
To sum it all up, it was a gorgeous day to do ridge walking and to stand on top of the Whale’s Back and have all those mountains spread out below us in 360-degree views.
It was pretty darn fine.
And tomorrow – gardening. Love it when I can drive to the snow and come back to digging in the dirt. And I have a writing job, thanks to Cecilia – my favourite kind of writing: inspiring others.
Yay!
A good day.
