Lightning Strike (once Again)

Today we had an excellent group – six of us drove to Kootenay Pass and snowshoed up Lightning Strike, taking the “new” way that Ben and I did a few days ago. We had gorgeous weather and snow that was, given spring conditions, pretty good.

The sun popped in and out, the day was warm, the route beautiful and rugged and immensely satisfying, and lunch in the cabin was yummy.

It was, quite simply, a super day in terrific company. And I’ll let the photos tell the rest.
