So – once again I snowshoed up White Queen (10th time this season?) and, as usual, I took a million photos, probably of the exact same views and trees I have taken before.
But the light is always different and the recent snowfall made it complete magic.
A faint skin track was good until the two-thirds mark – from there on I was on my own, breaking trail through pristine whiteness. And I loved it!
In summation – a beautiful day.
Today I noticed how, when I am out by myself in beauty like this, I think of absolutely nothing except the beauty – and perhaps of taking photos of the beauty. Everything else disappears.
I am incredibly lucky to be able to enter that state of mindlessness (not mindfulness).
Tomorrow – a house showing!
