Lightning Strike and Baldy Rocks

Okay – just a photo-heavy post today. This is due mainly to the fact that I had to get up at 4.45 a.m. to get my sorry ass down to Kootenay Pass this morning in order to snowshoe Lightning Strike and Baldy Rocks.

Yes, it was a fabulous day with awesome people and the top of Lightning Strike still ranks up there as one of my faves for snowshoeing.

Getting up early was worth it. That said, I will be getting my revenge in my trip report which I intend to write tomorrow morning. No one (not even Peter Oostlander) gets me up and driving before dark without some sort of payback.

Bonus: I don’t have to get up before 7 tomorrow!
