So I led my second snowshoe of the season for KMC – and it was pretty fabulous: small group, four wonderful people and we did a biggie – Mount Plewman from Strawberry Pass, which is not really a biggie when you’re not on snowshoes. But we were. And we made the entire trip in 6 hours, 15 minutes.
But that wasn’t a big deal. Who cares how long it takes? Except at this time of year when you want to get back to the vehicle before dark.
What a wonderful day! We had sun and blue skies and sat down on the top of Plewman in the warm sun for lunch. And that is, after all, my criterion for a perfect hike – it’s excellent when you can sit down for lunch.
And now – a busy day tomorrow: a meeting, trip report, laundry – and a bunch more.
Simon completed the details on the backsplash – the grouting is awesome. I swear, there isn’t a thing this man can’t do – and usually better than the professionals.
I am thrilled.
But now it’s time to whup his ass with Scrabble…
