We got back from our walk at Bannock Point and got into the car. Simon said, “I’ll bet the temperatures are in the teens.”
I gave him “the look.”
The car thermometer said 5 degrees.
Simon insisted that it would show warmer in a minute.
By the time we got to our house it was 4 degrees.
I gave him another look. Simon then explained that we got into double digits yesterday for 40 minutes while the car was sitting in the sun.
Oh sure.
At any rate, the downpour this morning did enough damage to the snow to expose a few patches of dirt.
I’m hanging on to what Kathleen said to me in a message this morning: “On Friday you will be in the land of tulips and daffodils.”
Yay!
