Simon cleaned the entire house – all morning long. He started in the basement – which is as clean as it can possibly be given that the dry-waller is coming on Wednesday.
Then – we left the house just before the real estate agent arrived with her clients and drove to Kaslo – a short little village walk we thought. So we started near the first footbridge and discovered that this “little walk” was actually a nice shoulder season hike. The dogs loved it; we would have enjoyed it even more if there hadn’t been so many icy patches. That said, we were impressed and we had a good afternoon outing – didn’t get home until after five p.m.
The dogs loved it.
The people liked the house – too close to the highway they said – and this is what we’re going to hear until someone sees the house and doesn’t mind.
Excitingly – two big snowshoe trips planned: Evening Ridge on Tuesday and Wolf Ridge a couple of days later – this last one is a point to point over terrain I have never been on – and it looks epic! So far, just Ben and I are going.
