Sheila, Ann, Nicky and I snowshoed above Sandon today – about 4.5 hours and 500 metres elevation. I’ve been up in the area enough that it offered no surprises – a road all the way, some old mining relics and today, grey skies. We had some views. For the most part the cloud cover was higher.
It wasn’t the kind of day that fuels the soul.
But it got me out and my body moving and that’s important to my well being. So – good.
And now my head feels like it’s wrapped in thick cotton.
And I have an idea for a story I am especially eager to write – it will have to wait another day, but I do believe it’s going to be a ton of fun when I get a chance to sit down undisturbed and start the process.
