The alarm went off at 5 and by 5.45 I was one my way. Yes, I am the queen of Translink. I don’t even have to ask directions from bus drivers any more! I do sooo know where I’m going and what buses I have to take.
At any rate, I sailed through security etc. and hung out – got on the airplane – left on time in sunny skies and beautiful views as we flew away. And we landed! The plane flew down through the clouds and ended up on the tarmac! Amazing – a plane that does what it’s supposed to do!
About 20 minutes later, Jan’s plane from Calgary landed and we took off. But first, a stop at Costco. And that meant that Simon got new underwear and the dogs got a new bed! And then, we drove and drove and drove.
You know what? It’s a long drive! That said, I felt blessed the entire way to have a ride. Jan is awesome!!!! The best!!! Love her!
She dropped me off at the junction and there was Simon – waiting for me. That was good because it would have been awkward to stand in the parking lot holding my bag, a pack of boxer shorts, and a ginormous dog bed!
And we drove home. And I had a bubble bath! And clean clothes!
Tired. I feel physically, mentally and emotionally spent. Zombie-like.
And I want to write and hike and ski!
First things first – chill. Just chill. Hard to do when there is so much on my mental list. And Christmas is coming so fast now. Holy crap!
There – there’s nothing like adding that to the list. I think it’s call stressed-out chilling. Yeah – I can work with that.
