Another story done. I’m creeping slowly up to thirty stories. The only thing I miss today – and I miss it badly – is getting out for a walk longer than the five-minute back four. But on a day this grey and wet and dank I just don’t have it in my heart to get in the car and drive somewhere.
Tomorrow – no matter what the weather, getting out is a priority. The plan is an all-day snowshoe. Fingers crossed the temperatures aren’t going to scuttle that.
Back to writing. I can’t get over how much I love the world I disappear into when I do it. It’s a different country. My very best escape. How fortuitous that inspiration struck now and not during the summer.
The rest of the day I will dedicate to agent searching and submissions. This time I am being very selective about who gets the manuscript.
