I still haven’t watered the garden or picked the raspberries and likely won’t until I get back from dropping off the dogs.
For some reason, this trip to Mount Robson entails far more thinking (ouch) than other trips I can remember, possibly because it involves two different types of camping. I’m used to just stuffing my backpack and hitting the trail. This time I also have to think about a long, long (at least nine hours) trip to the trailhead, camping overnight before setting off and then camping again somewhere on the road after getting back from Berg Lake. Whew!
So – stuffing my backpack, mostly with chocolate – and then a smaller case with my iPad and other “essentials.”
I’m excited. I’m watching the weather as well – so far, it looks like we may luck out. It’s been cold and icky up where we’re going but looks like it’s going to be nice while we’re there. Fingers and other bodily parts are crossed.
Obviously, I’ll be away from my blog for a while – could be about five days – maybe six. But with any luck, lots of photos and lots to write when we get back.
