Bannock Point hiking

Welcome to my mundane and boring life. Not that I’m complaining – just apologizing for my very much less than scintillating posts.

Let’s see – today: baking sourdough bread (an all-day affair) while doing laundry. Lunch – then a hike with Tim and Alisa to Bannock Point where we did the awesome trail as well as the upper lookout. Then off to New Denver for shopping.

So there we were – four adults in the car plus two dogs plus a pile of shopping bags from the market. The supplies from the liquor store had to go into the back with Abby. I kept my fingers crossed that she wouldn’t stumble out of the car, tripping over her feet while hiccupping and smelling suspiciously of craft beer.

Tim arrived last night and he’s everything I’d hoped for and more. He’s smart. witty, bright, sweet and obviously cares very much for Alisa. More good news: Alisa had an issue with transfer credits for her second year physics at UBC – that got cleared up – her stress has faded away.

So – hoping to do something interesting tomorrow. Maybe Davis Creek? We shall see. It’s clearly tourist time in our house.
