Near the Finish Line

I probably “should” have been writing all day. But I didn’t start until after lunch and I’m racing to finish re-doing my manuscript by the end of the day – and red-doing my query and submission – and submitting to at least one agent.

I am determined to get this done. At the same time, I am baking bread and making bean burgers.! And I got the dogs walked this morning. They really did need a good, long run and they got it.

The morning was crisp, cold but beautiful and the lower trail at Bannock Point is ice and snow-free. Hurrah!

Tomorrow will be a different story. I’ll be up at 5 and headed toward Granite Mountain by 6.30. Yes, I feel a bit of trepidation. I have no fears of going up – it’s the coming back down a steep ski slope rated as black diamond, sitting on a garbage bag hoping I can stop myself when necessary.

Oh boy!

Honestly, the things I do.
