That may seem boring, but trust me, it’s not.
Here are the highlights:
Going to bed early last night with the intention of getting a full eight hours sleep (well, maybe not only to get some sleep.) But then, something happened. I think I may have started it by suggesting performance art to accompany Simon’s acoustic guitar when we’re on the road – and then, of course, a fair demonstration and explanation of what the performance art might look light (I believe it included a pogo stick, Saran wrap and a game of “bat the bunny”).
What I’m trying to say is that the first hour we were in bed early consisted of giggling so hard that I had to rush to the bathroom three times.
It was well past midnight by the time we got to sleep.
That meant getting up rather late; I packed up laundry and stuff and headed out to my stable, taking dogs for a walk along the way, shopping for groceries and dog food and so on.
I’ve managed to get a few things done: some writing work (a wee bit) and some guitaring (also a wee bit). Anticipating dress shopping tomorrow and hiking. Floathouse inspections on Sunday – getting closer to everything falling into place.
Life is amazing!
And yes, I am also still pondering about a number of things. These are days of deep thought for me on several fronts. Body image is something that has been on my mind. I suppose dress shopping was bound to bring that up. Yesterday I felt concerned. Today, Simon told me how beautiful I am. If Simon thinks I’m beautiful – is there anything else that really matters?
