Here’s the thing: we all went to bed pretty early last night. I’m sure I was asleep by eleven and didn’t wake up until eight. That’s a good, restful nine hours sleep right there. Simon and Alisa also slept. We were all in fine form – I think.
We had your super breakfast and walked the green trail with the dogs. And I didn’t have anything else on the agenda: not one thing! Except that I wanted to do a bit of writing and guitaring. I’ve done both and look at the time! Almost four p.m.! Simon is going to call any minute and I’m going to meet them at the grocery store for some shopping and I heard a rumour about going to the coffee shop and I know that the day is going to disappear in a flash- poof!
I’m not complaining of course. I love how I spend my days. I simply stand in awe of the way they drift by. I might get more writing done and perhaps not. I’m ready to say to the day: surprise me!
However we are hiking all day tomorrow and that makes me supremely happy and excited.
The forecast for next week is sensational. Hiking and more hiking!
I love my life. I love my man! Life is very good indeed.
