This is shaping up to be domestic sort of day, which likely means an uninspired, domestic sort of blog post. I’ll endeavour to make it exciting but I doubt I’ll have much luck.
We started by getting out of bed at about eight (pretty exciting so far) and then, after a yummy breakfast, walking with the dogs on the green trail. The only interesting thing that happened there was that Simon made me laugh hard enough that I had to duck into the bushes to pee. I tried to explain that this never happens when I hike alone or with other people for that matter. He suggested a number of solutions to this recurring problem, including wearing shorts with baggy legs – but I won’t go into details.
Next on our thrill-filled agenda was coming home, where I wasted a reasonable amount of time on Facebook before cleaning the bathroom. Then I had lunch, which included a goodly hunk of triple crime Brie (are you hooked yet on this edge-of-your-seat tale?). After lunch I had a nap and here we are – and here is my exciting blog thus far.
My afternoon plans include (wait for it…) baking bread, vacuuming and writing. And there you have it: my electrifying day!
The best part is that I share it with the Love of my Life, so it’s perfect and I wouldn’t change one single minute of it.
