Today, I worked – startling as that may seem. But it’s all right – it’s only temporary madness. I am hiking tomorrow, which makes a lot more sense.

Still, I did some invoicing today and I have to admit, invoicing is rather nice. So maybe I won’t give work up altogether yet.

Meanwhile, I walked with Abby in Hemer Park in the best October light I have ever seen – and of course, I didn’t bring my camera! Akkk!

And now, I am anticipating dinner with Simon and his daughter. I am going to meet his daughter – who I understand is the most fantastically fabulous person on earth (and since Simon never lies, I know this is true.)

Oh the pressure of it all! (this post contains way too many exclamation marks!)

And the sheer happiness of dinner with them both.
