Mount Drabble

All I can say is that I am grateful that we don’t pay too much attention to weather reports. If we did, we may well have put off hiking Mount Drabble today (rain and thunderstorms). As it was, the sun shone, the sky was blue, the air was warm and we had a most wondrous time.

No matter how many times I hike Mount Drabble, I will never tire of the top – the sub alpine and the multiple tarns. Today was perfect: Linda love taking photos as much as I do and is just as taken with the tarns. I don’t think there is a tarn on Drabble that didn’t get its picture taken upside down and inside out today.

Happily, Penny was tolerant of all this stopping every 10 feet to take a picture. And, let’s not forget that the company of Penny and Linda is just about the best company that anyone could ask for on a hike.

All in all, it was just plain glorious! Loved this day! On the drive home we started talking about hiking in the Dolomites. I sense a trip coming on!P1060353_Fotor P1060358_Fotor P1060360_Fotor P1060363_Fotor P1060365_Fotor P1060367_Fotor P1060369_Fotor P1060371_Fotor P1060372_Fotor P1060373_Fotor P1060375_Fotor P1060379_Fotor P1060384_Fotor P1060385_Fotor P1060386_Fotor P1060387_Fotor P1060389_Fotor
