And yes, I mean climbing the wall, literally. And no, there’s no photo of me – and yes, I did climb. But heck, someone had to take the pictures!
It was fun, but my attention span being relative to that of a gnat, I only stayed for about 1.5 hours rather than our designated and booked 2 hours. And then there’s this darn back. Climbing set me back a bit. I put my back out (as I have been doing for years. Hell, other people put out their cats – I put out my back) about two weeks ago and it was getting better. Now it’s pretty achy again.
That said, I am not about to let it stop me from hiking this evening and then again three of the four days on the weekend, including Mount Arrowsmith and Crest Mountain.
So there! Take that, spine! (actually, I think my spine quite likes how I treat it. It’s still holding me upright, yes?)
In other news, I am sincerely concerned for the future of mankind. But right now, I am not going to post about it. I will wait until I am feeling more introspective. Today I have other things on my mind: work and hiking.
