More on Hiking

11049457_704512116342073_3171748013813750395_o_FotorThanks to Carol Doering for this photo of our group on top of Mount Drabble yesterday.

Actually, I think the only reason I am posting  this morning, is to show off the photo.

Isn’t that a fine looking bunch?

Did I mention that Abby stole a piece of Carol’s toast when we stopped for a snack on the way up? Yup – right out of her tupperware container. And just when I thought she was getting better. She was very naughty yesterday. I am grateful for the forbearance of the group.

In other news, I just came back from the first Cedar Farmer’s Market of the season: bigger and better than ever. I am now loaded down with fresh salad greens, baby spinach, coarse, home-baked bread, a big shiny purple eggplant, ripe tomatoes, slender stocks of asparagus – oh my gosh – so much yummy local food to be grateful for!

And now, for the rest of this lazy day – lunch, a nap (yay!), a hike in the Foothills and a visit to VPO in hopes they now have Icebreaker shorts in my size.

In other words, this is a pretty good way to spend the day.
