I feel pretty accomplished today. I spent most of the morning in the garden and got my early veggies planted: peas, collards and lettuce. I also get the blueberries weeded.
After lunch, I lat down for my usual 20-minute nap – and woke up almost an hour later. Eek – I had a group to take on a hike on the Harewood Plains.
First things first: a snack of chocolate. Next – boots, camera, backpack, Abby – off to the plains.
What a super afternoon for hiking. The warmth and sunshine were dazzlingly perfect!
My skin is browning.
And that’s about it – yup – just a lazy Sunday.
On another note, I have been deeply concerned about offending anyone with yesterday’s post. Yup – I worry about hurting people’s feelings. And that’s a double-edged sword. It makes me consider others, but it also keeps me from speaking my mind. That said, I surely didn’t intend to offend or hurt. For me, it was all about introspection. It was a matter of learning more about myself. That learning process is never-ending.
And I suppose that’s another double-edged sword: the good news: there’s always more to learn. The bad news: there’s always more to learn.
