Still Going Right

I love ending a work week with everything accomplished, scheduled and in order – and today is such a day. Happiness!

Other things to be happy about: warmth, sunshine and the return of the swallows and hummingbirds.

Also, of course, the anticipation of hiking during the next three days – oh – and dancing. Yes, there is going to be dancing Saturday night! And this time it will be on an actual dance floor; no chair dancing this time around.

And peace. I had a strong sense during our walk today, of world peace. Yes, that sounds very naive – very Pollyanna-ish. But that sense that enveloped me like a blanket was comforting and hopeful. I believe that the only way will achieve it is to believe in it. When we focus on war and unrest, we get more of it. In other words, we get what we put our attention on. I want to do my best to focus on peace and love and to believe that its exits and that we are capable of it. To think anything else is futile.
