Finally, I can tick Mount Prevost off my list. I’ve been looking at that big lump of a hill for years and wondering how to get up it. Thanks to Mary Hof, today I got up there. It was a terrific day – but then isnt’ it always when I’m hiking?
Now, fresh out of a hot bubble bath, I’m feeling as good as can be.
I think I have a whole bunch of things sorted out now in my mind. First, the vacation thing: two weeks in Switzerland, which we will book this week; second, a week to ten days in Whistler, which I will book in a few months. Third, the VPO sale, which I shall dive into, aided and abetted by Paul, to spend a vast sum of money on all the multi-day gear I will need for camping and overnight trips.
There – that takes care of it.
Oh – and work – yes, I am sticking to four days. I love it! It means I can two or three days a week. And next weekend will be four days long.
This is good. My head feels clear. Decisions made. It always feels better to have made a decision. It’s immensely freeing – I know that, even though I may fight against it at times.
Meanwhile, these are the Mount Prevost photos from today:
