Okay – that’s it. Sheesh! I find it hard to believe that I have a client who has been sewing over a 300 word article for four days – and five minutes from now is my deadline and they still can’t get it together.
This is what makes me want a four day work week. Um – no, wait a minute, make that a two-day work week. Or maybe zero days.
I am now officially not going to care because it’s Thursday at 5 p.m. and my four-day week is so over. And I like this shorter week and I think I will institute it permanently – until I go even shorter.
I am still madly mulling over what to do this summer. I am certainly, without any doubt, going to Switzerland for two weeks – that’s booked. But, with a rapidly plunging dollar and rising prices, do I go for longer? Teh more I consider it, the more I think not. And this morning, that made me a little sad. But then I perked right up when I thought about coming back for a few days and then heading to Whistler for a week of hiking. Now there’s an idea!
This could be quite a wonderful summer after all.
But right now my job is to make this a wonderful weekend – and it starts right now!
