If not for a persistent ache in my arm and shoulders – and various bits of discomfort, I’d say I’m doing really well. I didn’t need help with Abby this morning, although I certainly did need Julie’s help later lacing up my boots and zipping my jacket.
But the Cable Bay hike went well, albeit slower than normal. Then after lunch I took Abby to Hemer for another 2 hours. All the outdoor walking is keeping me rom going utterly squirrely.
And that’s really it for the day. Last night I spent a good deal of time following the election results – no surprises really – just happy ones. Most of my choices were elected, especially on the school board. We wanted change and we got it – so that’s good news.
I have a very busy week – tons of work. I’m hoping for good news at the hospital on Wednesday regarding my healing. I shall endeavour to wash my feet tonight. I fear I am getting a tad stinky. And I wish I could change my sheets. On the other hand , these do seem like first world problems.
I have completely lost my appetite for anything except fruit and maybe cereal – so that’s what I’ll be eating – listening to my body.
And reminding myself many times each day how lucky I am.
