October is not done with us yet – an unbelievable amount of rain today. Abby and I were out (while I was waiting for the bread to come out of the oven at Columbia Bakery) – sheesh! Even my waterproofs only barely held out; another few minutes and I think even the Gore-tex would have given up.
But it was worth it for the bet rye bread in the world. And it’s still warm. Yum!
I am experiencing a brief lull on the work scene, which wont’ last long.
I have also finally let go of the stress of deciding what to do on Saturday – hiking that is. I have opted for the Westwood Ridges. That will work best for Julie and Stella and since we are doing Roberts Roost as well, it should be good fun and fairly full day. I hope we can do Minnas Ridge again the Saturday after that. Fingers crossed.
Off to do politics – yes, I am still doing politics.
Sigh.
