Today we had some blessed relief from the rain – so I took advantage to dash out with my camera – well, I didn’t actually dash: I took Abby for a nice long walk in Hemer Park. The fall colours are still somewhat pale, but then we never get the spectacular burst they do back east. We need frost to achieve the crimsons and scarlets of Ontario and Quebec. Still, the walk was pretty.
The toughest decision I am faced with today is where to hike on Saturday. I have too many choices. I think I have now boiled it down to two: hike with Paul and do four peaks in a day or go with Julie and Stella and do the Ridges plus Roberts Roost. I have put the choice squarely in Julie’s lap (nice way to not make a decision). I’ll be happy with either one.
Oh the stress that is in my life!
As for politics – the last few days have been eerily quiet. Have I been fired? If so, do I care?
