Well, let me just say, whew! End of the week – well, almost. I still have one story to complete but that shouldn’t take long.
Politics has made this week more interesting and I have to say, I have noticed that my political tolerance fuse is growing shorter. I shall have to apologize profusely to Jim for taking it out on him today.
The subject was fracking – I am so tired of hearing the propaganda machine that never seems to address issues like chemicals going into our ground water and earthquakes in fracking areas that had previously never experienced any. There is so much going on that the government is keeping mum about.
And I’ll say it again, how is it that the government, that was originally supposed to look after the interests of citizens is now working against citizens in the interest of multi-national corporations?
And to paraphrase Ansel Adams, it is shocking that we have to protect the environment from the government.
My antidotes to thoughts like this is to go into the mountains. Minnas Ridge on Sunday. It’s promising to be a good day so, hopefully, lots of photos.
