Yes, I know, with a title like “Clean Car” you would think that, at the very least, I could post a photo of my little Corolla. But really, would you be able to tell how (relatively) pristine it is now, after I scrubbed and vacuumed for almost an hour? Of course not. (yes, that was a rhetorical question).
Instead, I give you two lovely photos of Dodds Narrows for a different angle than the usual. You see, before being productive and finally cleaning my car (confession: it’s been months and months) I was in holiday mode, meaning idle. I drove to the north end, bought chocolate, boot laces, body butter. Came back, napped after lunch and then walked with Abby. Wonderful!
I feel so darn accomplished just from getting one big chore out of the way. Tomorrow I plan on gardening for several hours so that I can take off on Monday in all good conscience for another full day of hiking.
Sitting at my desk, looking out the window at dark rain clouds gathering in the west. They should pour some much-needed rain down on us soon. But of course! I just washed my car, right?
