It’s just as well that today’s work schedule consisted of one quick interview with the mayor of Duncan, a write-up on that, a couple of phone calls and NOTHING ELSE!
Whew! I am so not ready to get back to it. I really, really like not working. I have always suspected that, at heart, I am extremely lazy – indolent even. The reason I work so hard and so fast and so conscientiously? – so that I can get it out of the way and get back to doing nothing.
I fear this may be the truth.
On another note, I heard today from my cousin, Ursula, who I also hope to see in Germany this coming summer. I just adore being in touch with my relatives again. They are some of the nicest people I have ever known.
And on a completely unrelated topic: the weather is heavenly: as these photos, I hope, will attest.
