Still Shameless

Yes – still promoting my e-book. Well, I mean, if I don’t do it, who will?

I have doubled my sales since yesterday. Two books in one day! Wow! At this rate, given the royalties, I should be able to retire in 2079. Excellent!

On another note, I am putting aside and mulling over dates for flying to Toronto in the spring – for four days or so to visit relatives, especially my mother. I wish I could say I was excited about going. I do it out of a sense of duty. I hate doing things I “should” do – but I will do this one. Sigh.

I can’t be the only person on the planet who feels like this. It doesn’t mean I don’t love my brother and my nephew – and it’s not that I’m not happy to be with them. It’s just that somewhere along the way, these visits have been framed as an obligation. Food for thought.

We each have our own needs.

A friend told me a long time ago “love them while they’re here, they’re a long time gone.”. Having “been there” recently, it’s true.

Just saying’ … My 2 cents worth
