It was a different kind of hike today – and very enjoyable: the iconic Mount Benson hike, known to me as the Benson Grind. A nice day for it – great view from the top. Lots of people on the trail, including about seven of us (lost count) and five dogs (I never lose count of dogs). So yes, even though it’s my least favourite hike, it was good. What is it the (I) say? “Even a bad hike is better than no hike at all.”
Stopped off at Valhalla Pure on the way home and guess what I bought? NOTHING That’s right! Oh sure, back in the day, I would have purchased the purple Icebreaker hoodie and the T-shirt and some more socks and knickers (nice coral colour) and the jacket and more leggings and and and….. But these days it’s about what I need, not what I want. I just don’t need anything. I have what I need. And that is a very nice feeling.
So here’she flag at the top of Mount Benson:

And tomorrow at nine am I have my first interview scheduled. I just hope I remember how to do this. Work? What’s that?
