There I go again – another great day – its almost getting boring.
But seriously folks: after a mundane morning of grocery shopping (which I admit that I love – I clearly don’t get out enough), I came home, lunch, quick nap, and one major feature. The rest of the day was dedicated to catching up on American Idol. And mark my words (you heard it here first) – Angela Miller is the one to watch!
A very, very early prediction of the winner for this season.
I also love the red-haired boy (yes, I forgot his name).
So what else made today so spectacular? I dont’ know, probably just an accumulation of a terrific week. It seems that everything has been going my way. I have achieved, I have been admired, I have practiced autonomy and been madly creative. I also got a favourite assignment today from my editor at Homes & Living – the Great Victoria Art Gallery’s new exhibit. I love talking to artist’s and curators and writing about their work.
I have nothing on for tomorrow, which means I may actually get the dusting done – it’s been a few weeks (sigh). And then a hiking filled weekend and the Academy Awards on Sunday!
You see? It’s all so good. The only downside to all this spectacularness (is that even a word?) (of course not) is that I get all excited and my mind starts whirling and I think happy excited thoughts EVEN WHEN I AM SUPPOSED TO BE SLEEPING! So, you see, there’s something to be said for depression.
Still, I think I’ll take excitement and happy happy joy joy.
