Who knew that today would be so busy?
Frist, and most importantly of course, I had to watch The Voice – and am of the considered opinion the Cassadee Pope is going to win tonight. Of course, I won’t know the results until tomorrow.
Then I tried to use my printer for the first time since getting my iMac. Ah well – why did it not surprise me to discover that my Samsung is not compatible with Apple products? About 7,000 Samsung printers are – just not mine.
And so, after a beautiful long walk through Hemer park today – with the sun slanting very low in the sky, I drove to Future Shop.
I did my research first – knew that I wanted a Brother – and got one at a surprisingly low price. While I was up that way I dashed over to Valhalla Pure to get some DWR (or is it WDR? – some combination fo those letters) to re-waterproof my Gore-Tex pants and jacket. They’re in the dryer right now sp here’s hoping.
Shopping done in record time – skidded past the holiday crowds – and truth to tell, there were very few of them. I take this to be a good sign. We spend far too much money buying things that people don’t need with money we don’t have.
I got back home, plugged in my new printer and let the computer do the rest – setup on a Mac is the easiest thing I’ve ver encountered. So now I have a perfectly good laser printer to give away – I suspect some soul somewhere will want it.
